Walden III is a public magnet school located in Racine's central city at 1012 Center Street. We have a multiethnic population of approximately 500 students in grades 6-12. We are named after Henry David Thoreau's classic, Walden, and we encourage young adults to hear the beat of a different drummer. Thoreau also wrote, "It is time for uncommon schools . . . "
